On 5 May at 4pm CEST, ATLAS physicists Dr. Stefanie Morgenstern and Dr. Liaoshan Shi will give a live tour of the ATLAS Control Room on the ATLAS and CERN Youtube Channels.

How does a particle-physics experiment control room work? Who works there and what do they do? Join us for a tour inside the ATLAS Control Room at CERN to find out! Watch as physicists record data from high-energy collisions from the LHC (13.6 TeV) and learn how they work together to keep the experiment running smoothly.

The tour will be guided by ATLAS physicists Dr. Stefanie Morgenstern and Dr. Liaoshan Shi. They will go desk-to-desk, speaking to experts on shift in the control room – giving viewers an exclusive behind-the-scenes look.
