The Polytechnic School at the Federal University of Bahia (Poli-UFBA), Salvador, Brazil, will organize between the 11th and 15th of December, 2023 the summer edition of the Arts, Culture, Science and Technology Week (Poli-ACTA). This event happens three times each year and intends to present new perspectives in science and technology for graduate and undergraduate engineering students. At Poli-UFBA, there are 11 undergraduate and six graduate courses in different areas of engineering, such as Electrical and Computer, Mechanical, Production, and Chemical Engineering, comprising more than 5000 active students. A virtual visit to CERN's ATLAS experiment will be organised by Professor Eduardo Simas in Salvador and the Researcher Denis Oliveira Damazio (BNL/ATLAS) in Geneva during this event on December 11th, 2:00 pm (CERN) and 10:00 am in Salvador A Escola Politécnica da Universidade Federal da Bahia (Poli-UFBA), Salvador, Brasil, organizará entre os dias 11 e 15 de dezembro de 2023 a edição de verão da Semana de Artes, Cultura, Ciência e Tecnologia (Poli-ACTA). Este evento acontece três vezes por ano e pretende apresentar novas perspectivas em ciência e tecnologia para estudantes de graduação e pós-graduação em engenharia. No Poli-UFBA, são 11 cursos de graduação e 6 de pós-graduação em diferentes áreas das engenharias, como Engenharia Elétrica e de Computação, Mecânica, Produção e Química, reunindo mais de 5 mil alunos ativos. Uma visita virtual ao experimento ATLAS do CERN será organizada pelo Professor Eduardo Simas em Salvador e pelo Pesquisador Denis Oliveira Damazio (BNL/ATLAS) em Genebra durante este evento no dia 11 de Dezembro as 2:00 da tarde no CERN e 10:00 da manhã em Salvador.
