Visit Description
The Politecnical School of the Federal University of Bahia will virtually visit the ATLAS Experiment to learn about the LHC accelerator, the ATLAS detector and some physics as performed at CERN. The visit will be coordinated by Professor Edmar Egídio Porcino de Souza and the Researcher Denis Oliveira Damazio (BNL/ATLAS) in Geneva, Switzerland. A Escola Politécnica da Universidade Federal da Bahia visitará virtualmente o Experimento ATLAS para aprender sobre o acelerador LHC, o detector ATLAS e um pouco da física realizada no CERN. A visita será coordenada pelo Professor Edmar Egídio Porcino de Souza e pelo Pesquisador Denis Oliveira Damazio (BNL/ATLAS) em Genebra, Suíça.
