Waleed Ahmed is a Phd candidate in particle physics at McGill University. He received his Master’s degree for work on the Belle-II experiment, which is based at the KEK laboratory in Japan. Since 2017, he has been a member of the ATLAS Collaboration and works on searches for the charged Higgs boson using data from the LHC. In his spare time, he enjoys playing basketball, snowboarding and learning languages.
