CERN Accelerating science

<!-- Replace default by booking form content --><p>Every year for the last three years about 30-40 teachers follow the week long Summer school. Among them are 20 American teachers active Quarknet members. The teachers follow talks, get introduced to the principles of inquiry learning, use hands-on tools (scenaria for ATLAS events, the HYPATIA tool, as well as astronomical observations in school telescopes). A laptop is available for each participant. The goal of the school is to have the teachers develop their own educational scenaria and present them at the end of the week. They will connect to the ATLAS Control Room to learn about the latest LHC activities and news.</p>
