Visit Description
The University of Melbourne holds a Work Experience programme for students in year 10 (aged 15-16). Within this programme, we have a Particle Physics stream where students learn about the basics of Particle Physics. Also, they will complete tasks to learn about what it's like to be an academic and the career pathway of a Particle Physicist. We think it would be fascinating for the students to see the facility and talk to scientists at ATLAS.
